Certified Federal Contracts Manager Exam 

Contracting professionals who have education, training, knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, and a minimum of 1 year of experience can apply for the CFCM certification.

Eligibility requirements:

  • A degree from a regionally or Distance Education Accreditation Council (DEAC) accredited institution at the bachelor’s level. Non-degreed candidates with at least 10 years of verifiable contract management experience may request a waiver.
  • One year of work experience in the contract management or related field.
  • A minimum of 80 hours of continuing professional education (see our Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Guidefor details).

 Total Member costs for CFCM: 

CFCM Study Guide $75

CFCM Application: $150

Examination Fee: $50

Total Cost $275 (Non Member Costs $465)


Certified Professional Contracts Manager Exam 

Contract professionals who have mastered the majority of the contract management competencies in the Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK), extensive business education and training, and a minimum of 5 years of experience can apply for the CPCM certification.

Eligibility requirements:

 Total Member costs for CPCM: 

Contract Mangement Body of Knowledge: $60

Desktop Guide to Basic Contracting Terms: $75

Far Essentials: $75

CPCM Application: $210

Examination Fee: $50

Total Cost $470 (Non Member Costs $690)


The Sacramento Gold Rush Chapter will proctor an exam on April 19, 2018 from 1-5pm. Walk-ins are not authorized.

 Members must register 45 days in advance of the exam by COB March 5, 2018.
